Last week in Paris was held the 8th edition of La French Touch Conference. The event gathered 300 participants and 25 speakers coming from more than 15 international cities and around 10 French cities. Success stories, keynotes, lavish ecosystems…  What a day!

La French Touch Conference’s Ecosystem

Congratulations to Kat Borlongan – former Pitch In The Plane jury member – who is now the head of the French Tech Mission! [article in French]

Fabrice Sergent, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Bandsintown was listed on Fast Company‘s 2018 ranking of the 100 Most Creative People in Business. Fabrice was one of our guest speakers at the very first edition of La French Touch Conference in New York City four years ago. [article in English]

Lendix raised €32M / $37M to become a European leader in the lending marketplace. Already established in France, Spain, and Italy, the company aims to expand into the Netherlands and Germany by the end of the year. [article in English]

Lunchr, the French start-up that revolutionizes luncheon voucher market, raised €11M / $12.8M to hire more employees and accelerate its development in France before reaching international markets by 2019. [article in French]

After only one year of operations, Paris-based B2B tour operator Perfectstay raised €15M / $17.5M to quickly enter European markets, starting in Germany and the UK. [articles in French & in English]

French cloud infrastructure management start-up Platform.sh raised $34M / €29M. The company recently doubled its revenue in a year and is currently working with 650 corporate clients across the globe. [article in English]

QuantCube, a start-up specialized in AI, raised €4.3M / $5M to accelerate its international development. The Parisian company which provides macroeconomic and financial predictive analytics aims to open offices in New York, the Middle East and Asia in 2019. [article in French or in English]

French startup Klaxoon raised €42.7M / $50M / to accelerate the international expansion of its teamwork platform. The startup provides a SaaS meeting service that makes meetings more efficient. [article in English]

Beyond Borders: EU Ecosystem

Estonian startup Taxify scored €149M / $175M in fundraisings which takes its valuation to $1Bn. The round was led by German automotive giant Daimler and featured participation from Taavet and Korelya Capital, the venture fund co-founded by our former speaker Fleur Pellerin. [article in English]

Brigad, the French on-demand staffing platform for the catering and hospitality industry announced the opening of an office in London. [article in French]

French bitcoin platform Paymium launched an ICO with an aim to raise €60M / $69M! Already present in European markets, the company now wants to go further and enter American and Chinese markets. [article in French]

Beyond Borders: International Ecosystem

French mobile games publisher Voodoo raised €171M / $200M from Goldman Sachs. Fresh funds will be used to develop a publishing hub to help mobile game developers. [article in  English]

American growth equity firm General Atlantic took stakes in French fashion brand Sézane. Sézane was a pure player before opening stores in Paris and New York and still carries out 92% of its sales online. The company is about to open a store in London. [article in French]

New York do you copy? France’s Adtech startup Scibids which provides machine learning algorithms for Trading Desks is about to open its first American office in New York City!  [article in French]
